Meet Daniel Han, DMD

Board Eligible, American Board of Periodontology

Dr. Daniel Sok Woong Han attended the University of Pennsylvania where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D) and certificates in Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis in 2011. He was awarded the top resident Award upon graduation. Dr. Han is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, teaching post-doctoral and dental students.

Dr. Han conducted extensive research on alveolar ridge expansion, splitting technique and immediate implant placements. In 2010, He presented his findings at the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) in San Diego.

Dr. Han was born in Seoul, South Korea and grew up in Vancouver, Canada. When he is not caring for his patients, teaching his residents or researching, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
