Our office is equipped with state-of-the-art Cone Beam Computed Tomography. If you need dental implants, seeing bone in 3D eliminates guessing. Drs. Sarment and Han are able to precisely locate an ideal implant position. Accurate planning is now possible, making surgery more predictable. Within seconds, a 3D x-ray of your jaw is obtained. Often, this x-ray can be taken at the first visit.
X-ray radiation is a concern to us. When compared to a traditional hospital CT scanner, radiation is reduced 20-30 times. When scanning one area of interest, radiation using our machine is about equivalent to five small dental x-rays.
